I'll Make Me A World (mp3)

Carter was one of several artists that participated in the national I'll Make Me A World celebration that coincided with the release of the PBS film of the same name.  At Philadelphia's historic landmark Belmont Mansion, he created a multimedia exhibit based on the original song penned by himself, Claude Cuyjet and Byl Holte (nephew to Patti Labelle.)

Andalusia (mp3)

In 1998, Carter visited the beautiful estate of James Biddle, (deceased) president of the National Trust of Historic Preservation.  Inspired by his visit, Carter penned the song Andalusia which captures the spirit of the estate, and mirrors the legacy of one of America's most prominent families.

Mi Piace Cuando Piove (mp3)

In the early 90s, Carter worked with a bunch of young talented gay musicians from the Philadelphia Gay Community Center's Open Mike Workshop.  Monthly artists would showcase new music material.  From these ranks were chosen the regional talent to perform at Philly's Pride Festivals.  As a joke, one of his fellow musicians asked him to write a bi-lingual tune.  Carter chose Italian, and this song became his signature track for performances for Pride at Penn's Landing.
